I’m going to start the “Airyca’s Favorite Things” posts with the Nalgene 32oz wide mouth water bottle. The favorite things posts are in no particular order – this is not my favorite product ever, but it is up there on the list of products that I love.

Cameron and I’s Nalgene Waterbottles.

Nalgenes are awesome because:

  • They’re made in the USA
  • BPA free
  • They have a wide mouth lid, so they’re easy to clean even in the dishwasher
  • There are different lids (both Nalgene brand and off brand) that you can buy based on your needs or preferences
  • Super durable

There are many different eco-friendly ways to carry water these days! I just love the classic Nalgene. I do not like hydration pouches because they are harder to handle and have weird pieces and parts to clean. The wide mouth Nalgene bottle is simple and easy to carry around in a variety of packs, purses, etc. The glow-in-the-dark feature of my Nalgene is purely novelty, but I really love it.

Guyot Designs even created this cool light up lid that my friend Murph from Bladeforums sent to me that fits the Nalgene and it works as a lantern.

The Nalgene waterbottle features liquid measurements on the side so you can track your water intake.

2018 UPDATE:

I found an amazing straw option for my Nalgene! I never cared much about having a straw before, but when I was researching what to bring to the hospital when I had my baby there were multiple sites that said bring your own water bottle with a straw. I figured what the heck, I should try it out and I really love it! I’ve been using the straw lid for over a year now almost every day and it’s super rad.
